The event is free and open to the public. Each year, SSU conducts this research conference to recognize faculty, graduate and undergraduate student research, including research conducted through externally-funded research. One of the goals of the conference is to bring awareness about the academic research conducted on campus and foster partnerships with K-12, higher education, and industry entities to advance scholarship and research collaborations. The conference is an opportunity for faculty and students from all academic programs to present their research in the form of poster presentations.
